About Vincent Pickering
Vincent has over 10 years experience of working in the online industry and internet based websites and applications where he has gained an in-depth knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Typography, Usability, Accessibility, User Interface Design Principles and Standards Based Design.
Vincent has worked on award winning small scale artistic e-commerce projects such as “My Wardrobe” and larger ventures such as the Official Catholic Social Network Site “xt3” all the way up to heavyweight applications such as the reporting tool for the “NHS Summary Care Records (SCR)” which houses one of the worlds largest database systems. In addition to this, he has also worked on iphone applications for leading UK brands.
Working on such a wide variety of projects has allowed Vincent to gain critical knowledge and understanding on designing dynamic web based applications, targeted niche designer websites, eCommerce driven sites, Social Networks and application based design.
Vincent has an clean Swiss style approach to his design that is implemented in a user friendly way, enhancing the appeal of a website without restricting its ease of use. He is attentive to every detail and is known for his out of the box thinking and innovative approach to problem solving working in a team or individually, delivering a high quality of work on a limited timeframe to budget.
